General FAQ
When can we arrive? When do we have to leave?
Please check back for info on Bonnaroo 2009.
Will Centeroo be open 24 hours?
Yes.
Where are the closest airports to the venue?
The two closest airports are Nashville and Chattanooga.
Will you be providing any shuttles to/from the airports?
There will be an organized shuttle service from the Nashville airport. Please go to the
travel info
section on the Bonnaroo website for more information on airport shuttles to the event.
How is the traffic going to be handled?
Over the past five years, we made many improvements to the overall traffic plan that have decreased the entrance and exit time for most festival patrons. As we continue to improve our traffic plan, we ask that you use only the designated pedestrian walkways, during Load-In and Loud-out times. This will help the internal flow of traffic, which will significantly decrease back up. We also ask for your help by carpooling as much as
possible and by cooperating with our parking staff, law enforcement, and following all internal traffic plans.
What is your re-entry policy?
Until Friday evening at 9:00 PM, vehicles will not be permitted to leave the festival and then re-enter the event grounds. This means that if your vehicle leaves, it will not be allowed to re-enter. After Friday evening, if you wish to leave the grounds in your vehicle and then return, you will have to leave through special security gates. At this gate we will register your vehicle when you leave and you will get a pass to re-enter. You will only be allowed to leave and then reenter with your vehicle once over the weekend. Upon returning you will only be able to re-enter with your vehicle through the gate you left, and will be subject to a thorough vehicle search.
Can I leave on foot and return?
The re-entry policy only applies to vehicles and not to patrons themselves.
Patrons will be allowed to leave and re-enter the event grounds on foot at their leisure.
If I am staying off site, can I leave and come back?
The re-entry policy will not affect day parkers. You will be allowed to enter and leave through a separate toll booth on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. To get to the toll booth for day parkers use exit 111 from I-24 and follow the signs to the festival. If exit 111 is closed, follow police instructions and then follow the signs to day parking.
