Most people feel they’re just being introduced to ME. They know me as the guy who became a house hold name in a very successful second season on the three time Emmy nominated CHAPPELLES SHOW; the hottest and most talked about show on television.
The show saw a steady increase in ratings when Charlie Murphys True Hollywood Stories Rick James and Prince skits aired. According to a VARIETY article on April 11, 2004, the show hit record highs with a 5.6/18 rating, the highest on Comedy Central in seven years! Plus, Paramount pulled off one of the biggest coups of the year when Chappelles Show surpassed Friends and Sex and the City to become the top-selling TV title of the year with $4.5 million in DVD sales! This was all due to me in no small part.
