SHREDOLUTION PHOTO SCAVENGER HUNT CONTEST

Welcome to Bonnaroo 2009! How has your thinking about the Global Climate Change changed in the past year? Folks here at Bonnaroo and the now almost famous Carbon Shredders are excited to think about the impact one person can have in helping change the climate problem. In fact, Bonnaroo and The Carbon Shredders are teaming up to launch the "Hey you! You can help reverse the Global Warming NOW" photo scavenger hunt contest.

What brilliant ideas do you have or do you think others have to get more and more people to reduce the burn of CO2, go renewable and get the climate to go-cool? Take the following photos of carbon reduction in action. To enter, all you have to do is photograph the answers to all of the clues below, and then post the photographs on Bonnaroo.com. You must also 'tag' each of your photos with the word '2009energyofchange.'

    Take photos of:

    * yourself, taking your recycling to the Clean Vibes Trading Post
    * your compost area at your campsite
    * yourself, putting your compost in the proper receptacle
    * your favorite green tip for festival goers
    * your favorite green artist playing the Solar Stage
    * you and your friends eating at the waste-free café in Planet Roo
    * yourself, attending a class at the Academy in Planet Roo
    * yourself, signing up to Shred Carbon at the Carbon Shredders booth

Anyone who photographs and posts all of the winning answers to the clues will be automatically entered to win the following prizes:

HOW DO YOU ROO?! VIDEO CONTEST!

Make a video about how much you love Bonnaroo and you could be chosen for our Fuse TV show!

Bonnaroo is one hugely amazing happening made up of thousands of individual journeys. We'd like to know all about yours. Upload a short video about what Bonnaroo means to you, and you and your friends could be the stars of a Fuse TV show following three groups of friends on their quest to have the best time ever at Bonnaroo 2009!

Here's how it works:

Make a short video (under two minutes, please) showing your take on the whole Bonnaroo experience. Be creative, be funny, be honest-Why is your Bonnaroo going to be incredible? If your video is selected, we'll hook you up with a Bonnaroo survival kit, a nice chunk of real estate in our Guest VIP camping section -that's right next to the stages! You'll appear in our upcoming TV series alongside Bonnaroo performance footage discovering bands, meeting people, camping out, rocking out and having the best weekend of the summer, if not your life.

BONNAROO CARPOOL CONTEST!

Arrive with your buddies! Save gas! Make new friends and share rides! Carpool to Bonnaroo!

Arrive at the Festival with 4 or more people in your vehicle and you will be eligible to be UPGRADED TO VIP CAMPING for each passenger in your car.

Here's how it works: Print out the Bonnaroo 2009 Carpooling PDF or write CARPOOLING TO THE ROO on an 8.5 x 11" sheet of paper and put it at your windshield. We'll have spotters at the tollbooths picking out cars at random. All winners will be notified ON THE SPOT.

BONNAROO MIND READER CONTEST!

In honor of Zoltaroo, the Bonnaroo Mind Reader that helps recommend bands at Bonnaroo 2009 based upon your music tastes, we are launching a contest where the winner will win 2 LIFETIME TICKETS to Bonnaroo!

PHISH BONNAROO 365 PHOTO CONTEST!

We are thrilled and honored to announce a stellar new photo contest in honor of Phish's participation in Bonnaroo 365!

With Phish's upcoming festival return at this year's Bonnaroo, this contest is centered around the band's previous signature events (Clifford Ball, The Great Went, Lemonwheel, Camp Oswego, Big Cypress, It, and Coventry). There's no doubt that thousands upon thousands of photos were taken by the attendees, and we want to see your favorites! To enter the contest, all you have to do is follow these three easy steps:

1) Go to www.bonnaroo.com and sign in to the community (not a member yet? Join the Bonnaroo community!)
2) Post a photo of your best/favorite photo from one of Phish's festivals
3) Tag it 'phishphotocontest'

GIRL TALK COSTUME/OUTFIT CONTEST!

From neon spandex to sunglasses to haircuts only Edward Scissorhands would be proud of, Girl Talk's fans certainly dress to impress. Get ready, because Girl Talk and Bonnaroo want to see what kind of style YOU have!

As many of you who have been to a Girl Talk show know, there is a secret sect of toilet paper artillerists, armed with high tech TP blowing machines. These TP bandits are a crucial part of the live Girl Talk experience, and you could win a chance to be one of them!

To enter the contest:

2009 LINEUP VIDEO CONTEST!

We are pleased to announce a stellar new contest in honor of this week's Lineup announcement and the release of the 2009 Bonnaroo Lineup Video made by our friends at Ghost Robot.  The contest is super easy to enter, and anyone who adds the official 2009 Bonnaroo Lineup Preview video to one or more of their webpages (e.g. Facebook, MySpace etc.) will be automatically entered to win VIP tickets, Regular Tickets, Merch and more to the 2009 festival!

For information on how to add the 2009 Bonnaroo Lineup video to your page(s), visit the official Bonnaroo Lineup Video trailer page and look for the 'Share' option. Once you have posted The Lineup video to your page, send us an email at lineupcontest@bonnaroo.com with a link to your page. We will be randomly checking these links throughout the week, and we will be picking winners at random (only people who have successfully posted the video to their webpage can win!).

The contest starts on February 2nd and will end on March 2nd.

2009 BONNAROO DESIGN CONTEST!

We are pleased to announce our annual Bonnaroo Design Contest!

Like previous years, we are looking for submissions to create a Bonnaroo logo or design. Take a little time to show us what you've got, and we may use your artwork on some Bonnaroo Merchandise. There are no guidelines for the actual artwork, except that it must have some tie to the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival.

The winners will receive a pair of tickets to the 2009 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival and You Can Help Us Choose The Winners!

Just like last year's contest, you can vote on all design submissions and help us choose what the winning designs will be! Below is a step by step guide on how to upload your design submissions and how to vote for your favorite designs!

1) From www.bonnaroo.com login to your Community Profile (or create a Bonnaroo Community profile if you haven't already)

2) Once logged in, click on 'My Page' in the upper right corner of the page

3) Click on the 'My Media' button and add your design submissions to your 'Photos' section

4) Tag each one of your design submissions as '2009RooDesignContest' (without quotation marks)

5) You can then search through all of the submissions by searching for '2009RooDesignContest' in the Community Search section.   
    Rate each design on a scale of 1 to 5 stars (5 stars being the best, 1 star being the worst), and you will help us choose which designs will win!

Note: Final artwork is not needed to enter; just an optimized picture is fine (72 dpi JPEG or GIF preferred). All artwork must be original and cannot be taken or derived from any "stock photo" websites. The winners will receive a pair of tickets to the 2009 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival!
