Earth Day is Monday, April 22. Here at Bonnaroo we are firm believers in practicing what we preach. This year, as many of you have heard, we installed permanent solar power. Since December 2012 we’ve been creating renewable energy from our 50KW array. From this date forward this solar array should reduce our energy consumption by 20%! While we can’t all put solar panels on our homes or apartment buildings there are a number of things you can do in your lives to reduce what you consume. Plant a garden, use public transportation, start phasing in energy efficient lightbulbs, or start composting – these are all simple ways to make a big difference.
