When can we arrive? When do we have to leave? crackcrackcrackcrack

This year, Bonnaroo will open the General Admission Campgrounds on Wednesday evening June 8th at 7:00PM to allow more time for vehicles to enter the campgrounds. Historically, the longest delays for arriving attendees have occurred from 4:00AM to 7:00PM on Thursday, so consider these peak delay times when you plan your trip. Come early and get ahead of the crowd!

The General Admission Campgrounds will OPEN at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 8, 2011.
 
PLEASE NOTE:  The VIP Campground will OPEN at 8:00 AM on Thursday, June 9, 2011.

All Campgrounds will CLOSE at 3:00 PM on Monday, June 13, 2011.

Will Centeroo be open 24 hours? crackcrackcrackcrack

Yes. Centeroo is the main area in festival grounds where fans come to see music, check out the food/craft vendors, and explore all the activities we offer. Centeroo will open at 12PM on the Thursday of the festival and will be open with activities 24 hours a day. Centeroo will close at 10PM on Sunday night of the festival weekend, and no one will be allowed to enter the area thereafter. The concerts will begin around 4PM on Thursday, 11AM/noon on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and will end around midnight on Sunday. Everyone will need to have a concert bracelet to gain access to Centeroo / concert venue. Security will be strictly enforcing this policy throughout the area.

Where are the closest airports to the venue? crackcrackcrackcrack

The two closest airports are Nashville and Chattanooga. crackcrackcrackcrack

Will you be providing any shuttles to/from the airports? crackcrackcrackcrack

There will be an organized shuttle service from the Nashville airport. Please go to the travel info section on the Bonnaroo website for more information on airport shuttles to the event. crackcrackcrackcrack

How is the traffic going to be handled? crackcrackcrackcrack

Over the past nine years, we have made many improvements to the overall traffic plan that have decreased the entrance and exit time for festival patrons. Historically, the longest delays for attendees have occurred from 4:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Thursday.  The site will open earlier this year (Wednesday at 7:00 PM) to reduce delays.  Consider the peak delay times when you plan your trip.  Also, as we continue to improve our traffic plan, we ask that you use the designated pedestrian walkways, or walk facing traffic on the side of the road, during Load-In and Loud-out times. This will help the internal flow of traffic, which will significantly decrease back up. We also ask for your help by carpooling as much as possible and by cooperating with our parking staff, law enforcement, and following all internal traffic plans.

What is your re-entry policy? crackcrackcrackcrack

Vehicles are not permitted to leave and re-enter the site until Friday evening starting at 9:00 PM at designated exits only.  If leave in your vehicle prior to 9:00 PM on Friday, it will not be allowed to re-enter.  

If you need to leave after Friday at 9:00 PM in your vehicle you must exit at the West Tollbooth or East Tollbooth and your wristband must be scanned out by our staff and scanned back in when you return.  If you attempt to exit through any other location or do not have your wristbands scanned out, you and your vehicle will not be allowed to re-enter the site.  (Do not attempt to leave the Highway Tollbooth, even if you originally came in there.  You will not be able to re-enter!)

You will only be allowed to leave and then re-enter with your vehicle once over the weekend. Remember, you will be subject to a thorough vehicle search as if you are entering the site for the first time.

Can I leave on foot and return? crackcrackcrackcrack

Patrons will be allowed to leave and re-enter the event grounds on foot at their leisure. There are no restrictions on what time you can leave and re-enter the site if you are walking, but you must exit at the West Tollbooth or East Tollbooth only and be scanned out by our staff and scanned back in when you return.  If you do not exit at the proper locations and have your wristband scanned out, you will not be allowed to re-enter the site. (Do not attempt to leave the Highway Tollbooth, even if you originally came in there.  You will not be able to re-enter!)

If I am staying off site, can I leave and come back? crackcrackcrackcrack

Day Parkers will be allowed to enter and leave only through the West Tollbooth each day. To get to West Tollbooth use Exit 111 from I-24 and follow the signs to the festival.  If Exit 111 is closed, follow police instructions and then follow the signs to Day Parking. Please note that because of the high influx of patrons to the festival site on Thursday and Friday, it may take longer than normal for Day Parkers to exit the site on these days.
