The Bonnaroo Carbon Shredders is joining forces with the Urban Land Scouts this year. Urban Land Scouts will encourage us all to engage in acts of urban stewardship. You will have the chance to earn special badges as you complete the actions at the Carbon Shred booth in Planet Roo.
 
The Carbon Shredders booth offers a chance to engage YOU as an Urban Land Scout: from getting a bag of Bonnaroo Compost to seed swapping to mapping in your community.  The Urban Land Scouts encourage people to engage in acts of urban stewardship. They are reverent to the land and committed to cultivating the health of both soil and plant communities. Stop by the Carbon Shredders booth this year to earn a patch from the Urban Land Scouts, ride a bike to power a lightbulb from CREx, check out the latest and greatest from Gardener's Supply and Green Mountain Coffee! All joining together to help you learn ways to reduce your carbon footprint!

The Urban Land Scouts

Gardener’s Supply is proud to be an employee-owned company of avid gardeners providing gardening-related products and information via their catalogs, website and retail stores. Headquartered in Vermont, the company has won many awards for its patented products and innovative corporate culture. Clean Vibes
Clean Vibes is a company formed and dedicated to the responsible waste management of outdoor festivals and events. Our mission is to actively encourage and promote recycling and proper waste disposal at outdoor events. We hope to inspire and educate a new generation of responsible stewards. Our goal is to decrease the amount of trash entering landfills and incinerators by increasing the amount of recyclables collected and delivered to recycling centers. C-REx (Carbon Reduction & Energy eXchange) C-REx is here to help musicians, artists and festivals   green their projects, tours, and operations through socially responsible and community-based carbon reductions and energy solutions. C-REx benefits the local community as an initiative of the non-profit Earth Givers (www.earthgivers.org) which engages in local energy conservation, low-income weatherization and carbon sequestration projects. Our bags and accessories are born in the junkyards of America, where we salvage seatbelts from old cars, and rescue billboards and tents before they’re chucked into landfills.
