We are continuing to work hard to improve the inbound traffic flow and internal traffic circulation.  One change that was successfully started last year is that, until Friday evening at 9:00 PM, vehicles will not be permitted to leave the festival and then re-enter the event grounds.  This means that if your vehicle leaves, it will not be allowed to re-enter.  After Friday evening, if you wish to leave the grounds in your vehicle and then return, you will have to leave through special security gates.  At this gate, we will register your vehicle when you leave, and you will get a pass to re-enter.  You will only be allowed to leave and then reenter with your vehicle once over the weekend. Upon returning you will only be able to reenter with your vehicle through the gate you left, and will be subject to a thorough vehicle search as if you are entering the site for the first time.

This policy will not affect day parkers.  They will be allowed to enter and leave through a separate tollbooth on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. To get to the tollbooth for day parkers use exit 111 from I-24 and follow the signs to the festival.  If exit 111 is closed, follow police instructions and then follow the signs to day parking.

Please note that this policy only applies to vehicles and not to patrons themselves.  Patrons will be allowed to leave and re-enter the event grounds on foot at their leisure.

Having this policy will allow the internal traffic flow to move more smoothly, enhance audience safety, and allowing maintenance trucks working on the port-o-lets, drinking stations, and other items to service these areas more effectively.

We will provide limited Camping Only areas near the Main Venue and Centeroo, which will be identified on the maps you will receive as you are processed through the tollbooths. These areas will not allow cars or vehicles of any kind. All vehicles will be towed and any illegal vendors removed. All attendees will come in through the regular tollbooths and will be parked as if they are going to be camping with their vehicles.  Patrons will have the option to move from their parking/camping site to this area with their camping gear only - dropping gear or people off from vehicles will not be allowed.

If you are interested in utilizing these areas we suggest that you bring a backpack or small luggage cart to carry your gear as you may be parked far away from this area. We will have two general stores and sanctioned vendors in these areas so procuring supplies etc. will not be an inconvenience. The space allotted for Camping Only areas is limited, and will be filled on a first-come first-served basis. If you get to the site too late to take advantage of these areas you will still have the camping space that goes with your vehicle.  

Perks to the Camping Only Areas Include:

- Close proximity to Main Stage Area and Centeroo
- Close proximity to General Stores, concessions and other services
- No cars or vehicular traffic in camping area

For the 2nd year in a row, we will be providing a Family Camping Area on-site. While the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival is a place for people of all ages, we feel that providing a special area for parents and their small children will help provide a better festival experience for all.

This area will be identified on the maps you will receive as you are processed through the tollbooths. Parking staff will direct you to the specified Family Camping Area once you arrive at the festival.

The family camping areas will feature some amenities for young children. These amenities, in addition to specific information regarding restricted access to the area,  will be announced closer to the event.

PODs are "community centers" throughout the Bonnaroo campgrounds.  Here, our POD Ambassadors and medical/safety team provide "24/7" support to our Roo patrons.  

Look up in the sky for the colored, numbered balloon marking each POD location to orient yourself with your camping area.

From concert and activity schedule info, to helping with camp set-up, vehicle issues, lost friends, or medical assistance, POD Ambassadors and medical/safety staff are there in your campground community to lend a helping hand.
 
PODs are also designated Lost & Found pick-up & drop-off points. In addition, PODs provide recycling and composting containers for all patrons in immediate area.
 
In the spirit of the POD community, this is also a place to gather and create. Unique, interactive, ongoing art projects were organized this year in collaboration with the Knoxville Museum of Art.

Imagine 80,000+  music-lovers camping for four days on 700 acres of Tennessee farmland and having the time of their lives.  Yep, that is a perfect recipe for lots o’ lost stuff - cell phones, wallets, car keys, cameras, backpacks, and sometimes even people. We have not let this important detail go overlooked!  Yet, each day a couple of hundred items are turned in at our Centeroo Info Booth, What Stage Info Booth, and campground PODs.

FOUND ITEMS
Please turn in any found items at the Centeroo Info Booth, What Stage Info Booth, or any campground POD.  Do a great deed for your fellow festival friend!

LOST ITEMS
If you lose an item or a friend, visit the Centeroo Info Booth.  Here, our enthusiastic team will gladly work to search for your lost item or friend and work to quickly reconnect you.

The Centeroo Info Booth is open 24/hours-a-day from Thursday, June 11 at 12:00 PM until Monday, June 15 at 2:00 AM (Sunday night).  

After the festival, lost items may be checked by e-mailing:

Found items will be kept no longer than one month following the festival.  All remaining (usable) items will be donated to charity.

A great addition for this year, there will be a golf cart taxi service that you can hire to take you back and forth to the Centeroo entrance each day. There will be some specific routes so be on the lookout for “Taxi Stands”, or you can hire them to take you right to your destination!

RV PARKING AREA / RV PARKING PASSES :
(Buses and Oversize vehicles included)  

There will be designated RV only parking areas in the campgrounds this year. All RVs attending Bonnaroo will be required to park in these areas. Due to the increase in the number of RVs attending, and the amount of space they take up, there will be a limited number of spaces available in these areas. One RV pass will be required for each RV. Parking all of the RVs together allows us to provide adequate camping space for traditional campers and better maintain the camping grounds while improving traffic flow. The RV camping area will make it easier for RVs to exit the grounds after the event, and to be serviced throughout the weekend.   

RV Parking Passes must be purchased in advance to reserve an RV space. If you do not have an RV Parking Pass, you will not be allowed to enter with your RV. Only RVs with RV parking passes will be allowed on site. An RV is defined as any vehicle larger either in length, width or height than a normal sixteen (16) passenger van. All oversized vehicles, trailers, campers that are towed and busses are considered RV’s.

NO BOX TRUCKS WILL BE ALLOWED!  

RV Parking Passes are on-sale now and available through ticketing for $100.00 per RV (Including all fees).  Everyone in an RV must posses a regular festival ticket to enter. Each RV will only need one RV pass to enter. Each RV space will be 20’ X 50’. Tents can be set up if they are within this space. Any slides or awnings must fit within the designated space as well.

PLEASE NOTE: There are no on site gas vendors. Be sure to fill your tank before entering the festival grounds.

At the time you purchase an RV Parking Pass you will be given the option of purchasing a Companion Vehicle Pass for an additional $25 (including all fees). The Companion Vehicle pass will allow an accompanying vehicle into a designated camping area next to the RV camping areas. Companion Vehicles will not be allowed to park directly next to an RV. The Companion Vehicle must arrive together with the RV so it can be parked in the appropriate corresponding area. Make sure you stay together as you approach the site. Companion Vehicles will not be allowed to park in the RV area fire lanes. Any vehicles or obstructions will be removed at the owner’s expense.   

There will be RV areas serving each of the major routes to the festival but police may direct you to a specific entrance at certain times. You will be directed to the RV area closest to the entrance you arrive at after you have passed through the tollbooths. Once an RV is parked in a designated space, it cannot move to another space. If you leave, you will surrender your RV space. A company will be onsite in the RV areas to pump tanks and refill water for an appropriate fee.  Please see the RV FAQ below for answers to additional questions.

The use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited at Bonnaroo. All laws pertaining to drug use should be respected. We encourage you to participate in the festival in a lawful and healthy manner. Various clean and sober groups will be onsite should you or any of your friends need their assistance.    

The sale of nitrous oxide is strictly prohibited. Consider these facts:  Nitrous Oxide cuts off the flow of oxygen to the brain; numerous emergencies have occurred due to its ingestion, ranging from concussions (falling down after passing out) to, in extreme cases, death; and some confiscated "nitrous" tanks actually contain other toxic gases such as argon or automotive nitrous (which contains petroleum). If you purchase nitrous oxide you are likely to be supporting people who care nothing about, and contribute nothing to, the Bonnaroo community.    

We work hard to insure the safety and quality of all official food and beverage vendors.  For health and quality reasons, we urge you to refrain from buying from unlicensed vendors. We appreciate your support of the official Bonnaroo vendors as they have made a commitment to the festival to provide quality and safe food options for you.   There are many authorized vendors in the festival area and campgrounds.

The sale of alcohol is strictly prohibited.    

The service roads must remain open at all times. Please walk on the wide shoulders provided, not on the roadways! This is the only way that we can provide emergency medical and fire protection as well as refill water tanks, service the toilets and pick up the trash.  

Centeroo is the main area in festival grounds where fans come to see music, check out the food/craft vendors, and explore all the activities we offer. Centeroo will open at 12pm on the Thursday of the festival and will be open with activities 24 hours a day. Centeroo will close at 1am on Sunday night/Monday morning of the festival weekend, and no one will be allowed to enter the area thereafter. Everyone will need to have a concert bracelet to gain access to Centeroo / concert venue. Security will be strictly enforcing this policy throughout the area.
