Athens, GA’s psych pop band Kuroma came through The Hoodie Shop to play their tune “Alexander Martin” for Mom, Meet The Band. While front man Hank Sullivant was a founding member of The Whigs and has spent time in MGMT, Yeasayer, Of Montreal and Fiery Furnaces, the music of Kuroma is where his talents get a chance to be front and center.

As if breaking bands don’t have enough hoops to jump through…
We invited some of our favorite up-and-comers to come by The Hoodie Shop in NYC’s Lower East Side to play some tunes and take the ultimate test — a grilling from mom.
