New Jersey native Patrick Droney spent his formative years playing guitar on the road with the likes of BB King and James Brown. After attending the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU, Droney moved to Los Angeles to focus on songwriting, subsequently placing songs in a number of major network television shows (including this season of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy") and attracting the attention of leading musical instrument manufacturer, Fender (FMIC), as one of their go-to artist ambassadors. In the fall of 2016, Droney relocated to Nashville and immersed himself in Music City's songwriting community. In 2017, the now-26-year-old signed with G Major Management (Thomas Rhett, Danielle Bradbery) as well as Kobalt for publishing.
Droney released his Self-Titled Debut EP in August, 2018, and to date has had over three-million streams. The lead track from the EP, "Stand and Deliver", recorded over one-hundred thousand streams in its first week and landed in the Top 10 on Spotify's US Viral Top 50 chart. Droney made his late night television debut in December 2018, performing "Stand and Deliver" on NBC's Late Night with Seth Myers.
