Bonnaroo isn’t your average music festival – life on The Farm is an adventure for 4 straight days and nights, and this year we’re adding dozens of brand new campground experiences to maximize the magic. With 4 new permanent venues (6 total!) at campground Plazas, we’re bringing musicians, artists, chefs, culture, and activities straight off the stage and out to your home-away-from-home so there’s more to explore than ever before. The Garage & The Love Shack (Plaza 2)
Swing by Plaza 2 for some ridiculousness, some shade and some coffee or light sandwiches too. From morning dance parties to yoga, art, music, and surprises… You’ll find exciting activities here all ‘Roo long. Stay tuned for more 2018 details.
Farm favorites, art car masterminds, and pioneers of positivity Walter Productions will be back doing what they do best at The Garage – Home of Big Red in Plaza 2. What kind of surprises does the creative team that brought you Kalliope and Big Red have in store? More pineapples? Bigger games? Whatever happens, we know it’s gonna be ridiculous. We’ll just have to wait and see what’s in store for 2018!
Get excited for a tequila bar and communal grilling experience at The Love Shack, by the Tennessee & Texas food icon Tim Love! Expect special a appearance by Durand Jones and, of course, Tim Love himself. Stop by for mouth watering food, good times with your friends, and more, all near Plaza 2 in the campgrounds.

“Happy Roo Day!” With Matt Shultz of Cage The Elephant (Plaza 9)
Matt Shultz, a veteran of Bonnaroo as both a performer and fan, is expressing his creative vision through a brand new experience in the campgrounds for the Bonnaroo community. Plaza 9 is being completely transformed by the creative mind of Matt Shultz. Come get ROOCHARGED, ROOLAX, ROOFLECT, and hit ROOSET in the brand new barn, and experience interactive art installations, outrageous parties, and more!
House Of Yes, Little Cinema & More! (Plaza 3)
About Plaza 3: Located in the heart of the campgrounds, right along 3rd avenue leading up to The Arch entrance to Centeroo, plaza 3 will not be a place to miss!
That’s right, House of Yes, the weird, wild, and wonderful night club and creative venue from Brooklyn, NY will be bringing the Circus of Yes to one of the funky NEW barns in the Bonnaroo campgrounds! Known for it’s eclectic events and fabulous dance parties, the House Of Yes is built on a foundation of positivity and fun where everyone is always welcome. It’s gonna be wild. Based out of NYC (and voted “Best Of New York in New York Magazine 2017”), Little Cinema fuses film, circus, dance, live music and effects into breathtaking one off spectacles of awesomeness. The Well (Plaza 6)
The Well(ness) Plaza is here to quench Bonnaroovian’s thirst of body AND mind with healthy and mindful activities galore. Why? Because you can have an awesome time while ALSO being awesome to yourself. Check out this new barn and the areas around it for healthy foods, yoga, meditation, the Roo Run, chill listening parties, exercise meetups, and more!

Tonalism By dublab (Late Night In Plaza 6)
About Tonalism: Taking place within the brand new Plaza 6 barn “The Well”, Tonalism is an ALL NIGHT ambient happening partly inspired by the happenings of the 50s and 60s. The events features live performances and DJ sets in an environment transformed by projections, installations, and various multimedia elements. Visitors are encouraged to bring pillows, cushions, or blankets to lay down and listen.
Among other things, Los Angeles native Mitchell Brown (aka Nanny Cantaloupe or Professor Cantaloupe) is a musician, a DJ on KXLU and DUBLAB, a music label owner (Melon Expander) and an assistant to developmentally disabled children. As a musician he improvises and composes using analog electronics, magnetic tape manipulation, electro-acoustics and percussion. Current and past involvements include Sana Shenai (duo w/ Jimmy Tamborello), Magic Wanderers (w/ Jesse Peterson, Mia Doi Todd & Andres Renteria), Sun Araw Trio, Golden Hits, Fancy Space People, Points of Friction, various LAFMS ensembles, Plasmodian World (w/ Don Bolles), Los Cincos/Syncopation, Brain Sucking Peanunanners (founded with children) and collaborations with Joseph Hammer, Ariel Pink, John Wiese, Jack Name, DJ Lance Rock, Matthewdavid and M. Lucky Dragons has been active since 2000. known for their participatory approach to making music, radically inclusive live shows, and playful, humanistic use of digital tools. Fischbeck and Rara have presented collaborative work in a wide variety of contexts, including the Whitney Museum of American Art (as part of the 2008 Whitney Biennial), the Centre Georges Pompidou, Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, London’s Institute for Contemporary Art, The Kitchen and PS1 in New York, REDCAT and LACMA in Los Angeles, MOCA Los Angeles, the 54th Venice Biennale, and the Smithsonian’s Hirshorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, among others.Visit Website
Hoseh is a Los Angeles native who has been a part of the city’s music fabric for 24 years. He hosted “Headspace” on KXLU 88.9 FM for 22 years and is a founding member of dublab.com where he hosts “Version Sounds”. His mix CD “Poppy Sol” was the first release as part of the dublab Future Roots series, and it has garnered much praise and recognition internationally. He has opened for such diverse acts as Lee Perry, The Orb, Belle and Sebastian, Eddie Palmieri, Plaid and Tortoise. He has played at venerated Los Angeles venues such as Walt Disney Concert Hall, The Natural History Museum and The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. The music he shares is multi-dimensional and uses a broad palette of past, present, and futuristic sounds.Visit Website
Alejandro Cohen is a musician and composer from Los Angeles, California. He has written and performed music as part of numerous projects and groups, including Languis, Pharaohs and Psychic Powers. Alex Pelly is a filmmaker and video artist. She blends digital graphics and video with analogue video feedback and VHS processing. She came up through Dublab, beginning by mixing live sampled video for shows, DJ nights and parties. She developed her analogue feedback aesthetic during the years of Top Tape, Dublab’s monthly night at the Hyperion Tavern, where she mixed VHS tapes to accompany music mixed on cassette tapes. Continuing her work with Dublab, she is also resident visualist at underground techno party, Perpetual Dawn (https://www.facebook.com/perpetualdawnla), and creates audio-visual experiences with improvisational noise duo, Telecavesc (http://www.telecaves.com)Visit Website
Farbod Kokabi is the founder of the label Geographic North. As part of the band Lyonnais he has released albums on Battery Fire and Hoss records. He has also done the visuals for artists like Napolian and Moon Diagram.Visit Website
Lyonnais is a band originally from Atlanta, Georgia. The quartet, features members TJ Blake (drums, also of Lotus Plaza) and Lee Tesche (guitars, also of Algiers), Farzad Moghaddam (bass, synths, Geographic North co-founder), and Farbod Kokabi (guitar, vocals, Geographic North co-founder). Their music parallel the frostbitten modes of This Heat and Clan of Xymox. For Tonalism they’ll be creating their own special ambient live set.Visit Website

Moon Diagrams is the solo project of Moses Archuleta (drummer and co-founder of Deerhunter) As Moon Diagrams, Moses Archuleta takes a few comfortable and casual steps away from being Deerhunter’s co-founder and all-around percussive extraordinary to spend some quality time with a few hidden pleasures.Visit Website
Diva is a musician, artist, and healer. She has several releases under the name Diva : The Glitter End, Moon Moods, and Divinity In Thee. She also has a project called Yialmelic Frequencies which recently released its first album Zjumk. She creates new guided meditations for dublab every first monday of the month from noon to 2.Visit Website
Jimmy Tamborello is produces music as Dntel or James Figurine, and plays in the groups Figurine and Golden Hits. In the past 20 years he has also remixed a lot of songs and played in a lot of bands including Postal Service, Headset, Strictly Ballroom, Antihouse, the Tyde, Fighter Jet and Further. He has hosted Dying Songs on dublab.com for over 10 years, playing all kinds of music but leaning towards electronics and melancholy.Visit Website
Aura T-09 has been a consistent advocate of producers and styles that seek to free the dance floor from the hegemony of 4/4 beats. Though much of her impact on Los Angeles dance floor culture has occurred behind the scenes as a graphic designer and event organizer, Aura T-09 (real name Marcia Pinna) has managed to reveal a connection between breakcore, IDM and experimental electronics and a number of vibrant regional dance scenes through her tireless efforts. Her friendship, support and collaboration with late footwork scene godfather DJ Rashad directly led to the genre’s popularity in the city, and she’s promoted parties for Venetian Snares and Xanopticon alongside Oneman, Kode9 and DJ Spinn. Behind the decks, Aura T-09 is able to sum up all these influences, refusing to draw a hierarchy between sounds for the mind and those aimed at the body.Visit Website
Zøraya is a Los Angeles based DJ, art director and visual artist. Originally from San Francisco and Detroit, she has been involved in electronic music for nearly 2 decades and has been DJing underground dance parties for the last 10 years. Recent projects include work with; dublab, Tigerbeat6 Records, WOAH, Xlr8r Magazine, Futra, RUN, Restless Nites, Midnight Lovers, Dialogue, Perpetual Dawn and the Dolab. Her sound and artistic vision reflect the utopian, future thinking of the 90’s Detroit techno scene, and themes of minimalism, escapism and science fiction can be seen and heard in her work.Visit Website
Matthewdavid is an American record producer based in Los Angeles. He is the co-founder of Leaving Records. He has released albums on Brainfeeder, NNA and Plug Research. His radio show “Mindflight Meditations” has been broadcasting on dublab for many years.Visit Website
Steph Russ began her radio career as a DJ and Events Manager at WXYC Chapel Hill, the University of North Carolina’s freeform radio station. She has been DJing for radio and live events since 2006. You can find her in Los Angeles hosting parties, mixing energy cocktails, working for Fade to Mind, and playing hard feminine Live PA sets as Heart Pressure Radio on dublab.Visit Website
The Grind & The Grove (Plaza 7)
The Grind is Plaza 7’s barn, and it hosts a loads of fun activities and convenient amenities (iced coffee anyone?). Grab a coffee or a cold brew, and soak up the music and creativity of your fellow Bonnaroovians performing at the open mic or rocking out at karaoke. Maybe step out back and enjoy a hammock in the shade of The Grove while you’re at it.
Relax in a hammock under a forest canopy right behind The Grind (plaza 7’s barn), and enjoy art along with beautiful night-time lighting.
Yep, you read that right. T-Pain himself will be hangin’ at The Grind in Plaza 7 for a VERY SPECIAL night of campground karaoke. Even if you’ve got a PAINful singing voice, you won’t want to miss this party (plus, there’s always auto-tune right?). More details to come!
And of course, late night karaoke at the Grind in Plaza 7 isn’t just when T-pain is around. Drop in after the headliners on any evening to sing your heart out and hang with friends in this late night karaoke Bar(n).

Yanira Vissepó is a textile artist located in Nashville, TN who utilizes hand carved blocks to create imagined scenes, patterns and symbols on a variety of different mediums. Richly textured and transformative of the spaces in which they reside, Vissepó’s patterns take many different forms — from hand-painted and block-printed murals to framed and free-standing tapestries, as well as works on paper.
The B-Hive (Plaza 4, under The Tower)
Bzzzz… do you hear that? that’s the sound of the Bonnaroovian community hub – The B-Hive. The B-Hive within Plaza 4 is the home of all sorts of Bonnaroo community focused experiences, like the Bonnaroo Census, The Bonnaroo Yearbook, The Timeline Wall, The Post Office, inspiring art, and more. Located right near The Tower entrance to Centeroo (you know, that one with the giant tower) Plaza 4 is your convenient stop to or from the Tower entrance to grab food, crafts, coffee, and a good time. Oh, and the “B” in B-Hive stands for Bonnaroo – no real Bees here, promise 🐝
